| Anyone can see beauty in the delicate design of a butterfly’s
wing. But how many of us can look at that wing and see the alphabet? Or
a smiling face? Or an ark’s worth of animals?
For the past four decades, Kjell Sandved has done just that. He now
has enough animal images to fill his “Noah’s Ark”
book. “Noah’s Ark” is an inspiring alphabet book for
children with symbolic animal figures and faces found half-hidden in
trees, leaves, orchids, butterflies, beetles, flowers, shells and other
natural objects. In the story, Noah leads the animals two by two up
the plank and into the Ark to save them after 40 days and 40 nights
of rain and tribulation.
Limericks will accompany each photograph. Any of these photographs
