1 BUTTERFLY WING DESIGN
The number 1 on the upper surface wing membrane of the Parnassius clodius butterfly (Latin name meaning “poetry”) shows the paper-thin delicacy of its wing. On the underside can be seen the outline of the most beautiful red heart found on a butterfly wing. This insect’s fluttering movement through the air brings enjoyment to everyone. The caterpillars feed on members of the bleeding heart family.
