9 FIDDLEHEAD FERN, S.A.
Ferns are flowerless dating back more than 350 million years. We see the elegance of nature’s ratio of the Fibonacci series in the leaves in epiphytic Bird's Nest fern as in flower-petal arrangements, pineapples, seeds, seashells and in architecture with the simple elegance of spiral stairs. The golden rule was applied in the building of the ancient Parthenon in Athens (400 BC), to Stradivarius violins, in music and was known to Leonardo da Vinci.
